ITME offers the following courses to students:
- B.Tech in Marine Engineering (4 years, 8 semesters)
- B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering (4 years, 8 semesters)
- B.Tech in Biotechnology (4 years, 8 semesters)
- B.Tech in Information Technology (4 years, 8 semesters)
- B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (4 years, 8 semesters)
- Bachelors in Nautical Science (3 years)
- M.Tech in VLSI Design and Embedded Technology
The admission process for B.Tech courses at ITME follows these criteria
- The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 examinations from a recognised board.
- Admission to all B.Tech Courses is through WBJEE/AIEEE only.
- Admission to B.Sc. in Nautical Science is direct and merit based. The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 examinations from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- Admission to the M.Tech course is direct and selection is merit based.
- Seat allotments to students in every college are made by Central Selection Committee through counseling sessions organised by them.
Special Criteria for Marine Engineering and Nautical Science Courses -
- Candidates must have an aggregate of 60% with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in their 10+2 or any equivalent examination.
- Candidates must have received 50% marks in English in their Class X or Class XII examinations.
- The age-limit is 25 years.
- The candidate must be physically fit with good eyesight (within +/- 2.5, for MRE and within 6/6 for BNS, no colour blindness).
