Shri Harshavardhan Neotia is a homegrown industrialist of Bengal who has successfully forayed into diverse areas like real estate, hospitality, healthcare and education.

He was awarded the "Padmashri" in the year 1999 by The President of India for his outstanding benchmark initiative in social housing.

He is also the recipient of the "YPO Legacy of Honour award" and serves as the Honorary Consul of Israel in West Bengal.

He serves as a Member on the Board of Governors of IIM, Kolkata and was Member of the Board of Governors of IIT Kharagpur and IIT Kanpur.

Our family has been an integral part of Kolkata for over a century now. Ambuja Neotia Group of which I am the Chairman has taken many innovative strides in the areas of real estate, health care and hospitality. It was my desire for a long time to use the group’s abilities in the field of education. This has now become possible with our involvement with ITME. ITME is an ambitious venture through which we strive to achieve new milestones in the field of technology training. This AICTE affiliated college has already earned the reputation of being one of the best colleges in terms of learning, infrastructure facilities and campus life.

My vision at ITME is to ensure that our students emerge as winners intellectually, ethically and professionally in future. Towards this goal, we strive to make ITME a 'Centre of Excellence', an institution that promotes thought leadership, nurtures excellence and creates a pedigree of students that are a class apart.
